the Contraceptive Pill - The break and the bleed Watch

(Title sounds like some sort of film sequel I know and I have also posted this in general health)

Anyway, I have just began my first bleed as this is my first break on the pill.I took my last pill friday and only began bleeding like moments ago, but I have a question or two:
My bleed is very small, rather light - is this normal?I also still have discharge along with the small bleed- is this normal too?

If anybody is willing to share their pill break experiences with me that would be helpful, the nurse didn't really explain much to me about the break, so I don't know if theres a lot it or not much to it.

The 'bleed' is a withdrawal bleed - it's a fake period.

The pill will thin your womb lining and create more mucus in your cervix (to prevent pregnancy) so a lighter period and more discharge is normal.

You can skip the withdrawal bleed (period) by taking two packs together and not having a break/sugar pills. But after 2 or more packs you may experience spotting (some light blood here and there). Normal.
