# m1 momentum Watch

1. how am i supposed to know to what direction the final speed of A is!!! like it didnt specify in the question and idk whether i should put it as - or + and its changing the whole answer. was there some sort of guide on the q??

As B is brought to a rest and that A cannot travel through B, A will reverse direction so it will be negative (assuming your v is positive)

if your answer's positive you got the direction the right way round
