Sorry this is a rather morbid topic but I really do need advice. My grandad died last Sunday and his funeral is likely to be on the day I have an exam- or on my birthday, when I don't have any. However due to one of my cousins having an exam then it's likely to be when I have one. I was very close to my grandad and I do want to go to the funeral...but I'm not sure. Do exam boards allow you to miss exams for funerals? I'm not trying to get out of an exam, I'd rather not miss it but I honestly don't know what to do...

    Thank you.

Ask your parents and exam officer.
If its less than 50% of your total exams then you can apply for special circs and they cna mark you on the exams you complete.
If its more then you will have to resit.
If you sit it, you can try for special circs if you feel your performance has been affected.

    really sorry to hear that

Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
