I may sound like a **** but I don't see what's so hard about remembering those formulae. Easy enough for me.

I memorised them from just doing questions on them over the year so it's not too bad really.

The formulae are easy to memorise; with Maths, there's a certain rhythm- I.e. In the quadratic equation, everyone goes "minus b plus minus"- this sounds weird without "plus" for example, so you know you've gone wrong.

Anyway. They're CERTAINLY ranking it up, not only in maths- I've never even heard the word kinematic- but also in English, where you basically have to memorise the poems, memorise the books and answer more questions than us in the same amount of time.

English is way harder since we now have to memorise quotes and it's a closed exam. Meaning no anthology or booklets.
current year 11's on the wjec board have to do this anyway?

It's better to know them by heart anyway (I know all the formulae). If you have to look at the formulae sheet, you're not good at Maths.
