STILL Not Old Enough to Go Out with my Friends Watch

I don't turn 18 until the 27th of August and though it drives me up the wall watching my friends go out together, I can manage.

Except today I realised that I won't be old enough to celebrate upon getting my A-Level results either, as they're released on the 18th of August after our results are released - 9 days before I'm 18, meaning that I can't go out with everyone else, which is a pain and a half.

There's nothing I can do, that I'm aware of, but that sure as hell doesn't mean I can't get angry about it. Anyone else in the same position? Because, oh my God, I need at least someone to be in the same position as me.

Except today it's REALLY being rubbed in my face because people are making plans to go to this big A2 results party (A-Pocalypse?) on the 18th of August after our results are released. 9 days before I'm 18, meaning that I can't go, and so shall be sitting at home all night watching Friends re-runs whilst every one else is prancing among confetti and CO2 cannons and UV paint and inflatables and whatever other crowd-pleasers they can cram into the night.

20th of august here, i feel you. Disadvantaged in too many ways to count.
