Okay basically my best friend and I have been friends for two years but this year is our final year at college before we go to different universities. We're really good friends but this whole year just seems as though we've gotten really far apart. We talk and joke around but it just seems really awkward most of the time. I know she's always stressed about exams and such but I feel like we can barely talk. We're not the same as we were and when we talk it's pretty much always about education and it gets really boring. How can I get close to her again? Are there any topics or suggestions you could suggest we talk about? I really miss how we used to be and even when I talk about our common interest it doesn't seem to be getting is anywhere.

there's nothing you can do about it really, she's already resigned to the fact she'll be very far away from you

I guess there is nothing you can do if she stressed with exams at the moment. I think the best thing to do is to give her some time to get her exams done and then maybe suggest meeting up. Maybe discuss things from the past when you were really close to rekindle the friendship.
