    The lack of great goalscorers at the tournament will mean that conservatism is rife.

    Compound that with the fact you can probably progress with just one victory, and you imagine we'll see few goals. We're probably looking at around 2 a game for the majority of fixtures.

    Very true. The three best strikers in the competition all play for teams that have no attacking presence whatsoever. Germany and Spain will obviously play controlled football. I guess France and England have the potential to be the most entertaining teams.

    Northern Ireland summed up what I think we can expect to see when Michael O'Neill said that, if they got a draw with Poland, they know they only need to win one out of two games and they'll go through.

    Three draws may be enough to go through.

    It's a ridiculous format.
