On a serious note I highly doubt anyone would be able to buy me as a friend. No amount of money would actually evoke the feeling of friendship. While there are amounts where a person would be willing to say they're your friend, or do things that friends do, the actual friendship would be fake.

Give me lots of money and I'll say I'm your friend. Be a decent person that I get along with, share interests with and so on and I'll be your friend.

What if your problem was not having enough money to throw at your problems?
