So I've just turned 18 and in the next month my exams are done.
I'm desperate to get out of this country for a few days for some sun. The friends I had asked away have now bailed but I'm still desperate to go!

I'm just thinking Majorca or somewhere for 3 nights, all inclusive so I can stay within the complex.

Do you think it's a good idea? Short break, not going off anywhere...
Please tell me I'm not being stupid with this idea!

    You do you.
I dont think theres anything wrong with going on a holiday by yourself, may be pretty fun and will definitely be a nice reward after revising for all them exams.

Personally, I would say don't do it. Maybe go with a cousin or, if you get on well with her, your mum if you just want to chill. I'd feel so bored and out of place going abroad on my own for a holiday.

as long as you don't think you will be bored/lonely... it can feel pretty lonely being completely alone with no one to talk to for several days

if you think you'll enjoy yourself there's no reason not to go, as long as you're sensible about safety and somewhere like majorca it's only going to be the same precautions you'd take here (don't get in strange people's car, don't share a taxi etc)

Alone? I don't think I'd ever suggest doing that

If it's what you wanna do then go do it!!!!

Lots of people go travelling alone; as long as you're prepared then don't let that hold you back.

If you have the money go for it, those places are usually more fun with others but doesnt make too much difference.

Thank you all for your comments. I am currently sat around the pool of my all inclusive in Tenerife! (Alone)! I've been here 1 night and have another 2 night and I have to say I'm loving it!
Just sat chilling in some peace and quiet.
I'd highly recommend this to anyone because it's all in a package so you don't even have to worry about transfers or anything!
