I just finished first year. My degree is mainly coursework assessed. I did okay all year apart from failing one exam in January that my other marks made up for. But these summer exams were dreadful. Two of the written ones went really bad especially one additional which weighs 34%. However, I have done well getting 60s and above in the main assignments while passing 2 others. My question is, will I be eligible for a resit in August if I fail the written one?

If you don't get a reply here, I would suggest checking your 'programme handbook' or somewhere on the university website which tells you how resits/passing units etc works - if in doubt, contact your department.

Best of luck, and hope it doesn't come to failing
