I was just wondering if anyone else is going to/currently studying Psychology in Stage 1 Open University. How are you finding the time management doing 120 credits? Is it manageable?
It would be nice to keep in touch with people doing the same course as me but also get some advice on how to manage 120 credits a year.
    Thank you!

Have you checked that 120 credit sis allowed by the OU at stage 1? This has not been the case in the past and despite conflicting advice from student support, the system would remove modules because previous ones hadn't been marked as complete.

The workload is possible but I wouldn't recommend it beyond stage 1. Credit size bears little resemblance to how much work needs putting into that module or the time it takes. Depending on your learning style, you may need more than their average hours of study to complete. 120 credits would be 32+ hours a week of study - plus any work or personal life commitments you have. Also not forgetting the additional hits during assignment weeks or those filled with revision.
Have you ever experienced racism/sexism at uni?
