    I don't mean one small line through a word, I mean crossing out a whole paragraph.
    Do you lose marks from crossing out in an English exam or even a History exam.
    Does OCR peanlise you for crossing out?

    I don't think you'd be penalised, as long as you make it clear that you don't want the crossed out section to be marked and only cross out with one or two diagonal lines so that the answer is still readable and your paper doesn't get messy

    No you will not.

    Anything crossed out in your answer booklet will not be marked, and will not be regarded as part of your answer.
