I´ve just completed my Master Degree in Sociology in Brazil. I´m interested in Development Studies and the Environment. I intend on applying for Phd programs in the UK, preferably LSE or UCL. The admissions process for UK´s Universities isn´t quite clear for me. What are the most relevant aspects? Any brazilian students to share experience?

Getting in isn't that hard, if you have good grades, good references and an interesting PhD proposal then you will likely be accepted. Getting funding is the really difficult part. Have a look in the Postgraduate Applications forum to find specific information about the application process.
