MA in Human Rights required for a career in Human Rights?
I'm deciding whether to take political science or marketing. I would like to work for an NGO/charity, hopefully related to human rights or international development.
A lot of people say I need an MA and for this I'll need to take political science (which I'm really good at).
However, to be realistic about jobs upon graduation (I'm not a rich kid who can afford to rely on the rents until something I want comes along), and a lot of charities specify marketing roles on their websites.
I would prefer to study politics, but I need to be realistic and learn real market place skills.
Which would be better?
