Good reason for not submitting extenuating circs claim?

What counts as a 'good reason' for not having submitted an extenuating circumstances claim earlier, knowing full well that I should have?

What actually *was* the reason? Was it good? Can you provide proof of it?

We know you were highly stressed at the time, from your other thread. If you go that route, you'll have to prove (not just tell them) that you were even more stressed than other students. Then explain how that resulted in you being fit enough to sit and pass an exam, but so distraught that you were unable to submit an extenuating circumstances form.

Basically, you have to sound like you're not just attempting a blag in order to get a disappointing mark increased.
