So recently I've been cutting down on how much I eat and started to do yoga that focusses on abs. I was wondering, would working on abs make my waist go in as well or not?

What do you mean by 'make my waist go in'?

Inb4 angrycucumber recommends the FAQ or 'eat more' lmao

Are you talking about losing love handles? I'm unsure as to what you mean exactly.

If you're looking to get toned/lose fat then just keep doing cardio, there is no single exercise that can target fat in one specific part of your body.

So atm my waist is at 30 and I want to get it to 26. Would doing abs get my waist at 26 inches?

doing abs stuff wont make your waist smaller. your waist is the size it is because of where your internal organs are. there are things you can get that squish things in but i'm not sure how healthy they are to use all the time

It'll be of little to no benefit. Either lift properly or do cardio such as running or swimming

You might not notice it but you do burn calories doing yoga. So you don't have to run far just to lose fat

    No

Lose more weight if you want a smaller waist.

No decernible abdominal muscle gain will be achieved through exercises such as Yoga.

I'm doing another cardio workout alongside too. Should've mentioned.

I have heard that the best exercise for making your waist smaller is by putting both your legs together, bending you knees and then moving your hips from side to side. Very flattering i know! Haven't tried this myself but am sure it works! Haha
