Payable Tax Help
Hi guys,
First post in ages, but I just want to clear something up so I can budget correctly. I've started a job that pays ÂŁ6.70 per hour, and I do 42.5 hours a week. But this is a temp job until September, so I'll get nowhere near the ÂŁ11,000 threshold for income tax. I just to make sure the only tax I'll pay is National Insurance at 12%?

It's possible you may be taxed income tax and would have to get it refunded in April as its done on a monthly basis (ie you get 1/12 of 11k per month) you will get this back.if you don't earn 11k though
