Today John Kerry chose John Edwards to be his vice presidential canidate. The other two main possibilites were **** Gephardt, and Tom Vilsack. Any opinions on his pick?

He was lower down on the list. I dont think he was known enough to bring in the votes.

Bit young and inexperienced, but I suppose he has the "Bill Clinton" factor to bring the democrats back into office. He'd also be more popular with the southern electorate.

He is young, but he is also very different from the bush type mold.

He looks OK from what I've seen of him. I like him more than John Kerry anyway

Edwards is a good shout politically. He's popular down south, and between them they talk a good game. I think it's bye bye bush, unless he rigs this one too (thats something for another topic).

I just hope they can walk the walk like they walk the walk and try to cure America's ills.
