The minimum entry grades are BBBB in fifth year and a further AA in sixth. As this is significantly lower than other unis, Glasgow being AAAAA, I was wondering if this is a reflection of the standard of teaching or the respect of the degree? Thanks

Not at all, the University of Aberdeen is very well respected, particularly for law.

Minimun requirements for Law at Aberdeen are -

4H at AAAB or 5H at AABBB in a single sitting.

As Law is so competitive for Aberdeen, if you achieve the minimum grades, you are still not guaranteed a place.

Aberdeen has an excellent reputation for Law - Ranked 11th in the whole of the UK according to 2016 Guardian league table, 2nd highest in Scotland ahead of Glasgow (Ranked only 18th). Edinburgh is ranked 9th in UK, 1st in Scotland.
