Felt sorry for a guy at tyre fitting place due to him struggling with English I felt empathetic for his situation and I don't know how I can help and I felt sad about this. I don't know how to describe the situation but the way he spoke was as if he had a learning disability or struggled with English pronunciation I came away from the situation feeling sad people are born like this or struggle with these things and I don't know I can help this guy which makes me more sadder.

In your time you could of offered to help him with his situation to see if he wanted any help at all. When you were there/with him you could of just helped him for a while.
