Hello,
I am just starting my application for Flight Operations Officer in the RAF, I have my P2 presentation this week, it says on the RAF recruitment website for this role you are not required to sit the aptitude tests, so just wondering if that means it will only be the 3 days rather than the 2 blocks, with the first block being only 2 days? And if anyone is also applying for this role do you know how quickly they are processing it at the moment?
Would be great to talk to someone else applying for this role or anyone who has been through it,
Thanks
Claire

Hi Claire,
You'll only need to do the filter interview, the medical, and then the OASC for flight ops. I'm not sure on the process time, I heard back about 3 weeks after the OASC and then started at cranwell about a month after that.

Is there a detailed break down of the flight operations officer specialist training course any where ? Week by week rather than the generic over view on the RAF website.
Any current or ex flight ops officers got any good and bad points to say about their trade?
