Hey! So I was wondering if it's possible to more or less sum up the difference between particular Cambridge Colleges to apply to (as many as possible). I think my heart is set on both King's and Trinity (but this could change) also is there specific things different colleges look for?
    Thankyou!

All colleges are essentially the same, except for the mature/women's colleges, and the far away ones are far away. That's about it. Both colleges you have mentioned are old and central so they may as well be the same. Pretty much everyone loves their college (and if they don't, it's probably not because of the college) and has a wonderful experience here. Apply to whichever one feels right, it really doesn't matter and won't affect you. Make your decision based on the biggest or smallest thing, whatever you want.

As per Star Light's reply... but this might also help (although it may not be entirely up to date...)

    http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/wiki..._Pros_and_Cons
    also
    http://www.applytocambridge.com/colleges/

    And, most importantly, http://www.undergraduate.study.cam.a...sing-a-college

Edit to add: just noticed your last question (bold). The answer is yes, and no... the admissions requirements can vary slightly between colleges. E.g. for some courses that ask for essays as part of your application, some ask for two essays, some ask for one. And the structure of interviews may vary too. Check the specific requirements for the course you are interested in. But again these are relatively small differences.

I'm afraid I find TSR's Camnridge college pros & cons page you mention is a bit biased and can be quite misleading. Also quite a lot of info there is old as not many people bother to update it regularly.
I really think it should come with a disclaimer that it may not be accurate and the info can be old.

    OP.
Don't worry too much about colleges. As mentioned above and on the university's website, it really doesn't matter too much and almost everyone loves their own college and think theirs is the best (= good reason you shouldn't believe how people think of their own college.) , even though it's not their first choice college and was pooled there.

Yes fair comment. Feel free to add/amend as necessary

And I note even the CUSU alternative prospectus says their info is out of date too and is being revised...

I raised the problem of that page while ago to one of TSR support team member and suggested it might be a good idea to get each college's JCR to update it regularly once a year to keep the info reliable.
But was told it's important it's done by 'members of TSR' as they're TSR's website. I think that's where the problem occurs.
It's tiny, tiny, tiny minority of Cambridge students who post in TSR, let alone who bother to update the info. Even if someone does, there's no guarantee the info they provide is accurate or unbiased.
If TSR is serious about providing correct info about Cambridge to its members, it should involve who can do that properly, and JCRs are the best people to do it.
But if the priority of TSR is everything should be done by its "'members', not the accuracy of info on the site, then it should carry a disclaimer that info may not be accurate or up-to-date.

Looks like the JCRs/CUSU have updated the AP

    http://www.applytocambridge.com/colleges

And Christ's JCR AP is broken

    At loooooong last............. > CUSU

As for each college's alternative prospectus, most colleges update it every few years, so it shouldn't be too bad.

The first half (up to "...too bad" ) is genuinely my post, but the latter half about Christ's AP is not.
Seems someone wrongly 'edited' my post......

And to whoever who did it, how often a college's AP is updated can depend on how diligent/lazy JCR during the period happen to be, but *usually* they tend to update every 4-6 yrs or so. Just FYI.
