    I was just looking at the entry requirements for law at exeter and it says AAA-AAB. My question is what affects whether they give you an AAA or an AAB offer?

    They can give you either one, but they tend to give the lower offer for those who go to lower achieving schools, at least that's why they gave me a lower offer

    I think its to do with course demand maybe? So if they get less applicants than usual a particular year they give a lower offer.

    Out of AAA-AAB, I got AAB

    I did email them and ask as my course is AAA-ABB which is quite a difference. They said that provided your grades are in line with the entry requirements (i'm hopefully going to be predicted AAB) there is a 'good chance' of being made an offer. Take that as you will :
