How do you use the provenance of a source to agree/disagree with a statement?
    So for example:
    Name: source.PNG
Views: 47
Size: 365.8 KB
and for the provenance I would say something about it being produced by an American at the time and so they are trying to mock Khrushchev/USSR by implying that they must force the people of East Berlin to stay in their zone using a wall blah blah blah, but how do you use this information to agree/disagree with the statement?

I would argue that because the source was created by an American, who would be anti-communist, it would be promoting the worst possible reason for building the wall that the Soviets had. I would then suggest that because of this is, I disagree that it was the main reason (to keep people in because it made communism look bad) and argue that the main reason was that the Soviets had spent so much money training people that it was seriously damaging their economy by all of them leaving.

You can think the exact opposite to what you are writing and argue it better than write your actual opinion sometimes lol
