    average would be 3.50-5 an hour

    • £7.20 – 25 and over
    • £6.70 – Age 21-24
    • £5.30 – Age 18-20
    • £3.87 – Under 18
    • £3.30 – Apprentice rate.

    Think it depends where you live - I live in the countryside so it tends to be easier for young people two get jobs - I have two,one which I do after school during the week (wrapping soap), that's £7 an hour, and I also have a weekend job in a restaurant, which is £6 an hour + tips (although it was £5 an hour when I started)
