Working out average for first year of degree.

Hello,

I've just gotten my results from all my modules and I wondered how you worked out what that the average is for the 1st year of my degree. Do I just add them up and divide or do I need to take into account the different modules weighting? If so how would I do this?

Thanks

You need to take into account the weighting. You can give your grades and your module weighting to me and I'll do it if you want? Or you can follow this:

GRADE * (MODULE CREDITS / TOTAL CREDITS FOR THE YEAR)

Do this for each module and then total them up to get your average for the year .
