I graduated from UCL last year with a 2.2 and subsequently only managed to get into a few universities, with the chosen one being Kingston.

Does anyone have any experience of ‘downgrading’ universities?

If you despise it that much why are you going there?

Doing postgrad isnt compulsory, so why dont you just go and get a job instead?

Why are you imagining there will be any 'issues'? You are a student, its a University. Unless you go around pretending you are actually too good to be there, I can't imagine it will present any 'issues' at all.

I got a 2.2 but I have offers from Birkbeck, Loughborough, Strathclyde, Newcastle and Bournemouth, I'm sure you can aim higher? I didn't even go to UCL for undergrad.
