I have been encourage to do an Extended Project Qualification by school and I want to go on to study physics at uni so I want to do a physics related topic. I'm struggling to come up with any as they can't be related to anything you study at A-level.

An EPQ is a 5000 word essay or a project and a 1000 word essay.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Semiconductors, superconductors or make something to demonstrate a principal in physics. I've never heard that it cant be related to A-Level topics, you just have to take a topic beyond A-Level, from my understanding
I'm probably doing DSSCs and conventional photovoltaic devices for mine, which is somewhere between chemistry and physics

Do you have to present your research?
It depends but usually you do have to present your research.
