I couldn't find a better place to post this.

I'm having a baby with my wife in September. We are both on Tier 4 visa's. I contacted my university's immigration department and they were less than helpful. I understand that I need to apply for a Tier 4 dependant visa for my Child or they will be cut off from the NHS at 12 weeks and we won't be able to travel.

This office didn't provide any information on the cost, processing time or required documents. When I tried check the UK visa site I couldn't find the information regarding applying from within the UK.

As far as I understand we need to apply for a birth certificate, than a passport and finally a visa. Does anyone here have experience with the process and how long things take?

It takes over a month after sending off the application.
