If I got a strong A for my controlled assessments (70/80) what grade would I need to get in the exam to pass. Say I got a D in the exam would I pass overall?

You need 180 UMS for a C, your coursework gives you 104 UMS therefore you need 76 UMS in the paper to pass. 76 UMS in the exam would be 30/80 which is an E. You could get an E and still pass
