I highly doubt it will be as bad as you think, last year I somehow got a B after receiving U's ALL year..

I took the same risk, but with Conservatism and Socialism.

That all sounds good! I wrote about all sorts for the Conservatism part B, I spoke about Burke, the need for security. I also mentioned about representing people, and referred to Oakeshott and G.K Chesterton. I also spoke about Paternalism, and the ruling elite being wiser/better equipped to do what is best for the country..

Probably was all wrong, but I felt the exam went really well in general.

How did you find the exam in general?

Thank you. Yeah I spoke about oakeshott as well and organic society vs thatcher there is no society. I also mentioned paternalism. I thought the liberalism question was really hard. Your answer sounds good!

Yeah I did that one, it was pretty simple. Talked about anti-rationalism and myths
Then did a bit about racism, corporatism and some on ultra-nationalism

yeah i talked about how anti-rationalism underpinned everything. i argued something slightly different and that it was actually will to action that was most important, because that's what drove the ideology forward and made it successful? Idk i mean it threw me ever so slightly but i still talked about myths and racism, also talked about it's relation to warfare. It was an ok question, and i'm glad because liberalism was my backup and wow was i not prepared to answer that

Honestly what you wrote sounds really good, youve no reason to be worried

And yeah same here, I had conservatism as my backup and when saw the liberalism question I was so glad. In hindsight I probably couldve answered it but in the moment it just threw me off

I'd imagine that it only had to be mentioned. I'm pretty sure you can use any country.

I didnt mention that either! :/ have you seen a predicted mark scheme?

With the new right in America I talked about sarah Palin and her populism. i.e support of families. do you think thats the sort of thing they are looking for?
Also has anyone got any predictions for ideologies in action tomorrow?

Our teacher has seen the markscheme and thats what it says. Woops

I am keeping my fingers crossed, for part A in Education, to be something along the lines of "argue the ideological case of socialism, towards the national curriculum". That'd be nice

Mark schemes are adjusted after marking the papers, hopefully it won't be a requirement after they've marked some of the papers

Worried about the liberalism 30 marker! It said 'discuss the differences', does that mean you can talk about the similarities?

Multiculturalism and feminism, but honestly tuesday's exam showed that anything can come up

I'm really worried that the 30 marker will be about joined up government, do you think that's likely ??
I don't think it would be that subjective, hope not
