Combined with good a-level results, will this be enough to make your application competitive when applying for a maths degree to the following places:

    Imperial college.

Yes: But I think it more depends on what extra curriculum you do in the two years of 6th form. What makes YOU stand out.
Everyone has grades, some will be better, some will be worse than yours.
However not everyone will have had the same life experiences as you, so sometimes, it can be good to focus on what makes YOU yourself

Well, I would say so, but it depends on the subjects for your course, be sure to check out the requirements on their page- some requirements go down to gcse so just ensure that you are doing the subjects they need and scoring high grades across the board.

I got 5A*s and 5As and got an offer from Warwick, so you should be good to roll!

    Other factors to consider-

    -Personal statement
-How your interview goes, if you do get one
    -Your extra curriculum activities

    With that in mind, Goodluck!
