As mature student I am more than aware of the politics within Universities and how they can be very slow in resolving issues.

My problem is that the University of Reading has failed to make any reasonable adjustments (beyond that of physical access to the lectures) meaning that by the time it came to the exams I didn't even have any study notes to revise from.

First of all the senior tutors tried to blame me, now the head of school is pushing me into the repeat year/ecf route.

So although they admit that they had serious issues this year with disability adjustment provisioning, I am the one having to go cap in hand to the University to repeat a year.

What is so laughable about this. Is a large amount of what they are teaching was actually created by me in the first place. I guess I should have mentioned I was the original Z3rO CooL (no I did not crash all those systems, that was just hollywood being creative)

So first they fail to make reasonable adjustments, now i have to manually apply through a process actually intended for students to missed whole sections of study.

They all seem to be just guessing as to how this should be resolved.

Why did you miss the lectures and seminars?

I'm sure the equality act doesn't account for time missed.

Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
