Is Business Information System a good degree? watch

    • Thread Starter

Hi, I just wanted to have a good understanding and know a few opinions from many people if this course is good.
It teaches you the knowledge and practical skills you need to participate in the development, implementation and management of business computing projects.
I'm more interested in business and ICT therefore I thought this would be a good subject for me as it seems like what I would do. I did a few research on what the course requires on the university website which I thought looked quite intriguing but I wanted to know more about it and if it's good for the future? Is it hard? etc...

    Thank you!

i do business information systems (BIS) and it is pretty much a fun course but slightly challenging in a good way, when i say good i mean it is interestingly challenging as it is not too hard but not a breeze in my opinion. It is also very versatile as it tests your literal skills, your business knowledge as well as a little bit of html coding. I personally really enjoyed my first year of it.

I know someone who did it and they got a 1st through sheer drive and determination. They are now a business analyst.

It isn't a bad degree by any means and you can get a good career with it. More important is to make sure it is something you are interested in and like the look of - as if you don't enjoy it, you may not be able to do well at it.
