I suppose it depends on how you let your social life effect your academics

    I suppose so for me.
I have a brother one year younger than me and I he constantly distracts from anything I do so I go library just to escape from any sort of distraction and get my work down by the walk or bus there is quite long and I waste a lot of Tim to and fro. So yes I think it would.
    A bit.

It depends on the type of person you are, for some the opportunity to leave home will mean that they drop all responsibilities and start socialising and forget about there studies... however for others it will be an opportunity to maintain a healthy balance of social life and studying thus one would lead a more productive lifestyle in which they are happier and there exams aren't suffering.
