Here is my situation.
Applied for a loan from SLC, got qualified for tuition fee in full, back in September for my first year at a University. Nothing out of ordinary, my attendances at the uni being high, getting high scores also.
In May, I thought I would apply a loan from SLC for the second year. That’s when the trouble started. I had received two letters, one for the previous year and another for this year, saying they are going to do re-reassessment. I checked my SLC account loan status for previous year was not green, it was green before.
Now I had received a letter I have entitled £0.00 tuition fee. I checked my SLC account again and I can see the tuition fee payments says ‘Reversed’, it said ‘Paid’ before.
I just wonder how am I supposed to enrol to second year, without the Uni letting me graduate from Year 1 in this situation. Does anyone experiences how long later the Uni will be asking for payment, if they may let me have my qualification and re-arrange payment methods other way? Also will they block me entering the Uni on this year?
Has anyone experienced this? What was your experience if you could share with me.

Hi, Iam sorry about what happened to you. Just noted your comment above cause I was searching to see if anyone else has experienced the same. It appears we are the only ones? I have had a similar nightmare unfortunately for me it was at the end of my degree. a week before my final exam!! The Student Loan Company reassessment of my childcare grants resulted in an over payment so they recalled everything! The lot ...fees, maintenance loans, grants ect. This has resulted in a HUGE financial debt which Iam been pursued for now! Resusal to my grad ceremony, refusal of my official transcripts because the fees are outstanding, I lost 2 graduate jobs offers because i can not supply transcripts, I have tried appealing to both the university and Student loans but got a flat NO! I feel that they did not consider my case at all! Now debt collectors are after me for the fees cause my university has refused to discuss and work with me on a realistic solution/ plan......even thus I worked for them for 2.5 yrs on outreach
