Chem multiple choice questions, please help!

The national average for the aqa paper is 22/40 and I can see why!
If anyone could explain these, I'd be very grateful:

1.Equation for combustion of butane in oxygen is,
C4H10 + 6.5 O2 -> 4 C02 + 5 H20
The mole fraction of butane in a mixture of butaneand oxygen with min amount of O2 required for complete combustion is,
a.0.133
b. 0.153
c. 0.167
d. 0.200 I thought it was b, and dont get how it could be a

2. A particular sample of iron ore contains 85% by mass Fe203 (Mr 159.6) and no other iron compound. The max amount of iron thatcould be extracted from 1 tonne of this ore is,
a. 0.50
b. 0.66
c 0.75
d.0.85 answers a, i thought d

thank you!

Question 1: B. Simply 1/0.65. I don't get how it could be A, C or D.

Question 2: 0.85 tonnes of Fe2O3. So max amount of Fe extracted would be (55.85*2)/159.6 * 0.85 = 0.59 tonnes. Wtf - I must have done something wrong, or the choices are wrong.
For the first question its a because
mole fraction= moles butane/total moles
= 1/7.5
=0.133
The second one i agree with Eau, not sure how they got their figures or if you've mistyped the value of a. In any case, if those are the right choices, you cant get more than 0.59 so a is the closest thing to the correct answer.

Agreed, second question must be wrong.

Yup, second question is weird. I got 0.59 tonnes too.

Edit: just recalled that 0 and 9 are quite close to each other..perhaps the topic starter made a typing error..haha
the choices were
a)0.59
b)0.66
c)0.75
d)0.85
