    A142 – MP Activity Amendment
Proposed by: Unown Uzer MP (UKIP)
Seconded by: Nigel Farage MEP MP (UKIP), adam9317 MP (UKIP), nebelbon MP (UKIP), mobbsy91 MP (Con)

    MP Activity Amendment

This House shall adjust the Guidance Document as follows:

3.1.2 and 3.1.5 (MP Activity & Voting Reviews) shall be removed from the Guidance Document.

3.1.3 of the Guidance Document shall become 3.1.2.

The new 3.1.2 shall be amended to read:
"Four weeks after the previous voting review, another voting review will be published.
    a) Seats with an attendance of less than 70% of the votes since the previous review or less than 80% for two consecutive voting reviews will be put up for by-election; normal by-election procedures apply.
    b) Parties whose seat(s) were put up for by-election as the result of a voting review are prohibited from participating in the resultant by-election.

    Notes:
We need to ensure that only those who maintain a good voting record may be MPs. The voting records of some MPs at the moment is terrible, and if parties do not have the people to maintain a good voting record, they should give up their seats to parties that actually have the people to maintain a good voting record.

Nay, dreadful idea. We should be placing less weight on voting records, not more.
