Is it possible to defer a university offer after applying? Also, what happens if you don't want to go to university after already accepting their offer?

I have decided that I either want to defer my entry or not go at all, deferring it is probably the better choice. But if it comes to September, and I've decided that I don't want to go to university this year and my entry isn't deferred, what happens then?

    Thanks.

    1) Yes you can defer in some instances, contact your chosen uni
    2) accepting an offer doesn't bind you in to going
