The number of people taking advantage of the EEA "family permit route" has soared by 50 per cent since David Cameron took office.UK immigration rules say migrants from outside the EU need to obtain a work or family visa to settle in Britain. But the edict handed down by Brussels bureaucrats allows them to join a spouse, civil partner or close relative living here.its were dished out to "third country nationals", as they are known, in 2014/15.

Shocking new data shows 30,879 permits were dished out to "third country nationals", as they are known, in 2014/15.The figure is up by a staggering 48 per cent since 2010/11, when Mr Cameron replaced Gordon Brown as Prime Minister.

Will this affect the EU debate? How will Cameron defend it?

I still don't understand what people find wrong with migrants. They seem to dish more taxes and such than they take out. I wouldn't trust the news agency you linked either; they seem to favor Brexit over Bremain. In that picture above, Cameron seems to be looking at something hilarious but just can't bring himself to laugh xD

Care to explain what the actual argument is? That article is unclear and its not unusual for the Daily Express not to know what its on about, considering their journalists ten to crib from the Daily Mail.

What is the edict handed down by Brussels bureaucrats? Why are you blaming Brussels?

Any immigration system will have rules dealing with allowing family and relatives from outside the EEA to come and join people who rightfully live and work here.
Care to clarify? As you posted it.

This isn't a loophole, this is about individual freedom.

If you marry a foreigner, you would expect to have the right to live with her in your homeland. If you decide to take advantage of your EU rights to work elsewhere in Europe you would expect to be able to take your wife with you.

Well, so does a Frenchman or a Dane.

Why is it shocking? Additionally, these immigration rules have nothing to do with the EU and will likely remain unchanged by the referendum result.

Why do Vote Leave seem to always use the Express or the Daily Mail as their sources? It really says a lot about how they came to be so terrifyingly brainwashed.

So that leaves 120,000 who come from outside the EU via the British immigration system. All completely above board and legitimately. That is the system we have full control of. Yet they keep coming.

My prediction is that immigration is a bit more complicated than building a wall, metaphorically or otherwise.
