Aqa as physics practical question from paper 3 please help! Watch

    I did this question ages ago but I can't seem to work out why I divided by four can someone please explain 😳.

    In one oscillation, the bar will swing from its start position over to the left and then back to the start. From the diagrams at the beginning of the paper, you can see that the ball hits the bar at the bottom of its first swing i.e one quarter of the way through one oscillation.
