So could you even use the quadratic formula for the graphs?

Quadratic graph won't come up on the calc; it was in the non calc.

No need to use completing the square for a graph as you can just find the roots (where the parabola intersects with the X-axis, usually when X=0).

Yes, I just presumed that's the exam board you're on, since the majority of people are.
