My friend runs a film group and I cancelled going as I had stomach problems due to anxiety and was not in the mood to be speaking to new people beforehand. Hours later I felt a lot better but wanted to see a film to take my mind off my problems. The thing is I bumped into my friend at the cinema as he was going to the toilet even though I went hours later. He text me and I text back apologising and the told him I cancelled as I was ill but didn't go due to my personal problems which I briefly explained and did not want to be withdrawn with the film group. He was ok and said he doesn't judge but I don't understand why I feel the need to feel bad and justify myself.

He hasn't replied to my what's app all day yet has logged on. He must be annoyed.
