Hey, aspiring astrophysics student here. Just wanted to know if anyone on here got less than the grades they needed to study astrophysics at uni but managed to get a place anyway?
I'm currently on a gap year resitting physics modules (got a C at a2) and doing A2 maths.

    Completely depends on the uni

Not been in your position, but as already said above, depends on the uni I'm afraid, but with it being physics and an astrophysics course, I'm sure they're wouldn't be as much leeway, but you never know.

If you don't get the grades you were hoping for, take a look at Portsmouth: their entry requirements are pretty low but the department is all about the astrophysics, as it is run by the Institute of Cosmology and Gravitation.

From what I've seen (not specifically astro)
    Hull
    Dundee
    Keele
    Nottingham Trent
    Portsmouth
    Kent (3Bs)
    UCLan
    Salford
    Northumbria
    De Montford
There may well be others to look at
