    1) Name the precipitates formed in these reactions:
    a) Sodium hydroxide and iron(III) Chloride
    b) Barium Chloride and Magnesium Sulphate
    c) Sodium hydroxide and Zinc Nitrate

    They're all solutions.

    Also, which precipitates are formed in each? I'm unsure if, for example, in b), is Barium Sulphate AND Magnesium Chloride made? Or just one of them?

    We're doing stuff on metal and non-metal tests, and I've no idea how to answer the following questions:
    1) The chip shop vinegar often become contaminated with table salt. Describe how you would test a sample of the vinegar to confirm the presence of sodium ions. State any observations made:

    2) Barium sulphate is insoluble. Describe in detail how you would prepare a pure dry sample of barium sulphate in the laboratory starting with solutions of barium chloride and zinc sulphate.
