    Well the total force acting downwards is 5x0.5 = 2.5N. Is there a mass of the beam? If not then from what I can see I am assuming R1 and R2 are equal? If that's the case then R1 = 1.25N and R2 = 1.25N.

    There is hardly any information so that's all I can do for you.
