i had said that effects on the ecosystem when deforestation takes place include:

animals dying as their territory/habitats are destroyed,
animals are dying because their food sources, which could have been the trees, are being destroyed.

also i said that deforestation is taking place because:
land needs to be cleared for crops,
trees are felled for use as materials e.g. fuel/wood.

is that right? will i get the marks?

yes, global warming also occurs when the chopped down trees are burned, or also in the process of chopping them down/transporting them.

For the first one I would say your first point would definitely get a mark. The second one I'm not 100% sure but you should do.
I said that deforestation is destroying habitats, reducing biodiversity, and
CO2 released into the atmosphere is warming polar regions and changing environments the animals live in?

For the second question I put in the exact same as you.
