    Do universities accept alternative courses to A levels (which cover Biology and Chemistry) at A level standard? I have done my A levels but didn't get the necessary grades.

    Technically yes, you could do an Access to Medicine course or possibly an Access to HE (Science) course, although not all med schools accept them. You could also do a foundation/preliminary year (click here to see a list, might be a bit outdated).

    Yes, top 20 universities do, such as University of East Anglia... DDM is required for Chemistry BSc for an example.
