Are they worth doing? I looked at the s paper, the hardest one, and it is way more difficult than any solomon/normal c3 past paper for edexcel. Would they be a waste of time as the questions in some of those papers would probably never come up in the exam to that same degree of difficulty or do you think they are good practice?

For my fp1 exam, I was scared an induction I couldn't complete would come up. I completed the whole proof by induction booklet, some of the questions ranging far beyond anything you'd be asked, the induction which many people could not complete took me about 3 minutes to do. My advice would be to do the less difficult IYGB papers, and then do the whole booklet of what you can't do or are slightly weak on. The (***) and (***+) are the type of questions you are likely to get as a 'difficult' question 8 or 9 in the exam.

    Good luck
