I am planning on moving out and am currently looking at places online to rent, however I plan on doing an access course as well as working so I definitely won't be able to afford somewhere by myself. I like the thought of living with other people but when somewhere is advertised as a flat share/shared house. Do I have to arrange who i'll be living with or do we all apply separately?

A friend did this recently. She just applied for a room in a flat share. The other people already lived there.
